1. About AIME

AIME (“the Service”) is a software application for generating construction method statements, risk assessments, and quality control documents using artificial intelligence. AIME is owned and operated by Chris Clayton, a sole trader registered in Sweden (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Professional Use

The Service is intended for use by qualified construction professionals, health and safety practitioners, and businesses operating in the construction sector. By using the Service you confirm that you have the relevant professional competence to review, assess, and approve safety documentation before it is used on any construction site.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

4. Description of Service

AIME provides tools to assist qualified professionals in the preparation of method statements and related health & safety documentation. The Service uses AI to analyse uploaded documents and generate draft content.

Important: AI-generated content is a draft starting point only. All output must be reviewed, verified, and approved by a competent person before use on any construction site. You remain solely and legally responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance of any documentation derived from the Service. The Service does not replace the judgement of a qualified health & safety professional.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. All prices exclude VAT. Applicable VAT will be added at checkout based on your location. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no refunds are issued for unused time unless required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use on site
Ensuring documents comply with applicable legislation, including Arbetsmiljölagen (Sweden), CDM 2015 (UK), and any relevant client requirements
Ensuring any person who approves a document is competent to do so under the relevant jurisdiction
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
Ensuring you have the right to upload any documents you provide to the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is the exclusive property of Chris Clayton and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission.

Documents you create using the Service remain your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. We do not warrant that documents produced by the Service are legally compliant, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chris Clayton shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service, including any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated content. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence apply where required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes by email with at least 14 days' notice.
